NATIONAL RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION

For the National Restaurant Association, we installed large 8×8 Evolve workstations with cushioned mobile pedestal files and Global storage units, and smaller 60” wide stations outfitted the call center area. In the Exam Processors area, we used AMQ’s height adjustable benching stations with dual monitor arms, also by AMQ.  Frameless glass stacker panels keep the space feeling open while maintaining privacy.

Private offices were furnished with Global Zira casegoods with White Chocolate surfaces and Dark Espresso storage and bases. Guest chairs are Global Islands. The conference rooms feature Global Zira powered tables and Global Accord chairs and the training room includes powered flip and nest tables by Versteel with Global Roma chair with honeycomb back.

UPSHOT

Common Sense Office Furniture partnered with a local interior design firm to furnish this beautiful 7th floor suite in downtown Orlando. Upon entering the suite, you will find a modern yet welcoming space that looks onto the conference room. Have a seat in the JSI BeSPACE modular bench unit,  surrounded by a coordinating glass coffee and side table.

The customer wanted to highlight the beautiful views, which are especially stunning from the glass enclosed conference room.  Adding to the beauty are the JSI Vision veneer boardroom table and JSI Newton chairs, along with a BeSPACE storage/credenza unit on the north wall.

In the executive office, you will find more BeSPACE lounge seating, as well as an Apogee desk and credenza wall unit, and a comfortable Humanscale Freedom chair.

Rounding out the suite, we have Groupe LaCasse CA desking with 9to5 Vault ergonomic chairs, completing the modern and attractive aesthetic.

USTA – PLAYER DEVELOPMENT

The Player Development building’s first floor houses a large training facility with indoor tennis courts, strength & conditioning and player lounge space.  The second floor is an open office environment with height adjustable benching stations from Enwork.  Employees can catch a quiet moment or take a phone call in a Visor Privacy chair from Encore or use the library corner furnished with the high-back Arcadia Intima lounge seating.  The bright, open break area is filled with Sandler Seating stools & chairs and doubles as additional meeting and work space. Global Duet stools and Swap tables provide seating in the observation areas which overlook the outdoor courts.

UNITED STATES TENNIS ASSOCIATION – PHASE 2

Phase 2 of the United States Tennis Association’s Home of American Tennis, completed this past fall, included five buildings in total.  One of those five, the Lodge will provide housing for visiting athletes, short & long term.

The Lodge’s main living area was furnished with fun & comfortable lounge pieces by Arcadia, JSI, and Allermuir. The sleek centerpiece reception counter is by Logiflex with Clarus glass.  The large dining room includes tables by ERG International with beautiful Krystalcast tops and chairs by Sandler Seating.

The Lodge’s living quarters are furnished with bunkable beds and stacking drawers from RT London.

UNITED STATES TENNIS ASSOCIATION

Common Sense Office Furniture finished installing Phase I of the USTA’s Home of American Tennis in Lake Nona the first week in July. Eventually home to over 200 people, the Administration Building features a very modern, open concept with many shared spaces. The grid style workstations from Enwork, are height adjustable and allow employees to both sit and stand, increasing overall productivity.  Custom lockers from Groupe LaCasse keep workstations clutter free and employee’s belongings safe.  The beautiful glass-walled conference rooms feature products from Global.  Throughout the space you’ll find quiet seating areas tucked away, as well as a variety of open-concept furniture from Arcadia, ERG International & Allermuir, which facilitate collaboration.  The lobby features a polished terrazzo floor with comfortable seating from Davis & Carolina. The facility will eventually host numerous professional, amateur and collegiate tournaments as well as other tennis events. For now, the occupants can enjoy their comfortable surroundings furnished by Common Sense Office Furniture.

HIGHWOODS PROPERTIES

The Highwoods Landmark 2 project was a collaboration between Common Sense Office Furniture and the Highwoods design team.  The large open atrium included several sitting areas with lounge furniture by Allermuir & Davis, all upholstered in COMs from ArcCom & Momentum.  A beautiful two-sided media table from Bernhardt provides space for casual work and plug & play access, and sleek bent wood stools & chairs from Allermuir paired with round tables from Davis fill the ‘café’ in the lobby’s center.

EMERSON INTERNATIONAL

Emerson International, Inc. partnered with Common Sense Office Furniture in 2015 to furnish a few of their new offices.  Through mutual collaboration before and during construction, Common Sense Office Furniture provided design assistance and space planning using a variety of manufacturers product lines.  The result is an aesthetically pleasing work environment which meets the occupants work criteria.

The usable space has been optimized with open plan modular furniture manufactured by Evolve Furniture Group.  Each individual workstation has ample storage installed underneath the work surfaces, as well as storage mounted at eye level.  Built in to the cubicle panel, a tool rail tile has been provided for additional organizational accessories.  The design of the works surfaces were meticulously chosen for the sufficient work space provided, as well as for the ergonomic design achieving a comfortable and practical workspace.

The private offices received upgraded, yet budget friendly laminate furniture line, Verde, which compliments the internal design of the office.  Using light and natural colors, and wall-mounted overhead storage, the environment is open and inviting.

The furniture provided exceeds the expectations of the office occupant, and meets the high standards of Common Sense Office Furniture.  Additional satellite offices will be furnished using this same template.

PCL CONSTRUCTION

When PCL construction decided to modernize its new space, they headed in the collaborative open plan direction.

It takes many different departments to complete a construction project, and the collaboration lasts throughout the project until the final coat of paint is applied so accessibility to each department is critical.

Facilitating interaction among the different departments was a central design element yet having space for private discussions was also important. The facility layout has both elements in the right proportion to effectively utilize all of the space under lease.

Each private office is outfitted with custom desks from JSI and workstations were provided by Evolve. The facility includes seating from a range of manufacturers: SitOnIt, Encore, Andreu World, and Sandler Seating.

WASTE PRO

When a refuse and recycling firm wanted to update their image, they turned to Common Sense to recycle their work environment. The Open Plan work stations hold customer service representatives and their state of the art boardroom provides data and AV conferencing capabilities. As the firm relocated from one floor to another and then back again after construction, Common Sense helped orchestrate the logistics to minimize their disruption.

RP FUNDING

When RP Funding wanted a solution that met their time, budget, and appearance criteria, they turned to Common Sense Office Furniture to meet all three. These modern and efficient workstations were specified for the mortgage processors to maximize density and give each person the right amount of space to perform effectively. RP Funding and Common Sense teamed together to deliver the right product saving money on both the furniture and the space required to house the mortgage processing operations.

SUNDANCE

In September 2014, CSOF worked with SunDance Graphics to create collaborative work spaces for 16 of their employees. SunDance worked extensively with our team to perfect their layout and furniture selections. We specified Open Plan Systems for all workstations – the Tile System to outfit their main work floor and Monolithic for private offices. With crisp white work surfaces and panels, the working environment feels modern, open and conducive to collaboration. Four 3-drawer lateral files are topped with a marker board surface which encourages inspiring and creative meetings. SitOnIt’s Wit chair was chosen as seating throughout the office. The Aqua and Desert mesh backs and neutral seat fabric creates a cool, fresh vibe while providing comfortable chairs for their employees.

CUBIC SIMULATION

Common Sense Office Furniture has completed a 260 work station project for Cubic Simulations – a leading technology and specialized services company. The project was done in multiple phases and consisted of collaborative Global work stations with glass accents. The training room is reconfigurable and also serves as a large conferencing area. The break room seating was specifically selected to match the wood finishes and the lobby has a very comfortable yet high tech feel. All of this was completed in the allotted time frame and budget.

CARLEY CORPORATION

Common Sense Office Furniture recently completed an installation at Carley Corporation’s new building in Orlando, FL. We worked hand in hand with Project Management Advisors, as well as the building’s architect and construction company, to coordinate the planning and logistics.
Carley Corporation opted to outfit their building with Open Plan Systems AO2 remanufactured workstations because of the quality and value. Each workstation features overhead storage, a binder bin, open shelving, and drawers.
For their boardroom, Krug Nuvo was determined to be the best value for a high-end, fully equipped conference table. The table includes full power, voice, data and HDMI capabilities. It is surrounded by beautiful Global Accord conference chairs upholstered in a Grade 4 vinyl.
Global’s Bungee tables were an ideal choice for Carley’s training and teaming facilities because they are easily and quickly reconfigured without ever needing a tool.
Communication was a key ingredient during this project to make sure that the installation went smoothly, resulting in the client’s high satisfaction.

CONTAINER CENTRALEN

Container Centralen, Inc (CC, Inc) provides the North American horticultural industry with a unique alternative to disposable packaging or grower-owned equipment for delivery of live plants to garden center retailers. They turned to us here at Common Sense Office Furniture to help provide a face-lift at their headquarters in Winter Garden, FL. We installed Nello Wall’s Clarity – a floor to ceiling, stunning new frame-less glass wall system – throughout their offices.  The addition of Clarity gives the offices and conference rooms a spacious, elegant ambiance, while providing definition of space.

LIVE TV

Live TV, a subsidiary of Jet Blue, contracted us to furnish their new facility in Orlando. They had a specific need for the work surface configuration and we were able to customize a solution without compromising the price. They utilized mobile pedestals for both storage and guest seating. We furnished 31 workstations, four private offices, two large conference rooms, break room, and several teaming areas. To meet their budget and operational needs, we furnished the warehouse office space with quality pre-owned Haworth products. All of the seating was specified to be consistent throughout all of the areas.
