SHUTTS & BOWEN
When Shutts and Bowen, a 110 year old law firm with eight Florida locations, wanted to create a tastefully modern work environment they turned to Common Sense Office Furniture. Understanding that the staid business of law is changing and the mahogany laden heavy wood sanctuaries of the past needed modernization, they insightfully decided to convert their space to an open more collaborative environment. Contemporary yet sensible finish selections, a nod to modern cloud storage, and the changing demographics of their work force all come together to make a very livable and comfortable work environment. Conceived by Blakeslee Design and put in to practice by Common Sense Furniture and Groupe Lacasse the space sets a new standard for efficient, modernly comfortable, and professional work environment.
SPACE COAST CREDIT UNION
Space Coast Credit Union had a unique request for Common Sense Office Furniture in 2017. Their new Headquarters Building B needed to have a transitional feel while reflecting traditional values.
This 3-story building was furnished with JSI “Vision” and Humanscale “Freedom” chairs for the private offices. Custom quartz was used in the private offices to compliment the design. 9to5 Seating was used for the task and training table chairs while JSI “Olympian” and “Finn Nu” were used for soft seating needs. The conference rooms were furnished with custom Enwork tables and custom quartz tops that have accessible outlets for each individual. Most importantly, this project was accomplished within the budget allocated and the timeframe requested.
